Do You Want to Inspire Your Students? We Can Help!

The Frame

8-14 Day Experiences

Need help getting started, redesigning, or leading your study abroad program? Whether it’s consulting during the curricular design and planning phase or you need us to be there to lead your group each day, we specialize in crafting unique experiences in Italy that are centered around student engagement and learning. We use a strength focused lens and are committed to encouraging play, wonder, curiosity, joy, knowledge, imagination, interaction, reflection, listening and adequate time in all that we offer (Axelsson, 2023). We will help you curate curriculum and experiences that are unique to your program’s needs and that can be based in Reggio Emilia (including Cavriago and Carpi), Fano (including Pesaro and Chiaravalle) or Florence (including Pistoia). Your study abroad experience can include observations inside early childhood centers, exploration of libraries and museums, hands-on atelier experiences, guided conversations at documentation centers, workshops with Reggio Children at the Loris Malaguzzi International Center and Remida, and cultural and historical visits and tours. From offering curricular ideas and support to arranging experiences, local connections and/or guidance, we will help you create a journey that brings new perspectives and unforgettable memories.

Want to join us on a professional study group first so that you have a better sense of the experience? Many of our previous participants have received funding from their institutions of higher education to participate in our Inspiring Places & Practices Study Group ahead of planning their own study abroad experience!
