Here at Cozy & Flourish, we are preparing for an amazing 2026 that includes an Inspiring Places & Practices Study Group to Sweden & Finland in May along with a Students & Professors Study Group to Italy in June, and we cannot wait! As we vision and plan with our international partners Suzanne Axelsson, Roberta Pucci, and others, we are also actively creating ways for EVERYONE to experience moments of this magic! These Moments will be held in English, with the hopes that our colleagues from around the world will consider joining us!
In 2026, YOU can join us for 1 hour teachings that are connected to this inspiration, to these places and practices, and to our friends and colleagues. Register below for one or more of these events OR use the final button to access all of these Moments of Inspiration with a $12 monthly VIP subscription to the Cottage Club @Cozy & Flourish! Individual event tickets are $20 each (international currency accepted). Discounts for purchases of 2 or more tickets for the same participant (2 for $35, 3 for $50). Group pricing available for registrations from the same company (use the Questions and Information box to share details and we will email you a personalized payment button).
Current Schedule
Introduction to the Preschools of Sweden & Finland with Suzanne Axelsson
January 24, 11am-noon EST (New York GMT-5) – Join us as Suzanne shares a short history of preschools, an overview of the curriculums and a brief run through of the mechanics of daily preschool life.
Introduction to the Original Learning Approach with Suzanne Axelsson
February 2, 11am-noon EST (New York GMT-5) – Suzanne will introduce the Original Learning Approach which will be one of the lenses used in the Inspiring Places & Practices Study Group to explore preschools, pedagogy and play, and is also the approach used by the preschool the group will visit just outside of Gothenburg.
Introduction to the Moomins and Tove Jansson
February 11, 11am-noon EST (New York GMT-5) – For those not familiar with the Moomins this will provide an opportunity to discover the storytelling of the Sweden-Finland author (yes, this is an actual thing, many in Finland have Swedish as their home-language). This presentation will also illuminate how the Moomins and storytelling can bring another layer of understanding to early years pedagogy, play and childhood.
